She married firstly Alan McGregor, and after his death in 1938 she married Marcel Dekyvere in 1940.

She was involved in many other charitable organisations including the Red Cross Special Appeals Committee, the Sydney Opera House Appeal Fund, the Peter Pan Committee, the Elizabethan Theatre Trust, St. Vincents Hospital Committee, and St. Stephens Church Dorcas Society. In 1959 Nola Dekyvere was president of the Golden Ball Committee which organised the Golden Ball, held in honour of Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra of Kent.
In 1958 Nola Dekyvere was awarded and a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.), and in 1972 was promoted to Commander of the Civil Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.). Nola Dekyvere died in 1991.
