    James McKenzie was an ambulance assistant when he joined the AIF in November 1914. He embarked at Sydney on HMAT Kyarra (A55) and served in the Army Medical Corps at Gallipoli and in France. He returned to Australia in 1918.
  • Scope and Content
    Album containing 58 photographs from World War I. Many are faded.
    Most have captions beneath describing the image. Images include James McKenzie's time in Egypt, the Dardenelles, and images of war ships.
