Pictorial collection, ca. 1859-ca. 1959, relating mainly to historic sites in New South Wales, compiled by historian and photographer William A. Bayley ca. 1959-ca. 1979. Includes photographs, photographic prints and postcards. As a prolific local historian, it is likely W.A.Bayley acquired pictorial research material from third parties, which he routinely donated to the Mitchell Library.
