- Scope and ContentCartoon depicts Sir Henry Parkes attired in top hat, cravat, gloves, overcoat, and spats, with walking stick, gesturing nonchalantly with his left hand. Parkes has his back turned to a rotund man wearing knee high boots, tailcoat, and top hat with ‘Capital’ written on the hatband. ‘Capital’ holds two cards: ‘New South Wales Debentures’ in his right hand and 'I.O.U.', dropping from his left hand.
