George Robertson was co-founder of Angus & Robertson in 1886. His daughter Bessie married John Ferguson, famed author of the seminal work, Bibliography of Australia. Their son George Ferguson joined the Angus & Robertson publishing department in 1939. He became publishing director in 1949 and managing director in 1961. - Scope and Content1. Letters and postcards from members of the Robertson family to George Ferguson, 1911-1990, including a letter and postcard from Marjorie Robertson, serving as a nurse in Egypt during World War I.
