Thomas Hassall's collection of personal papers and correspondence mainly addressed to him and his family and including such items as his Holy Orders, the warrant appointing him assistant chaplain in New South Wales, his appointment to degree of Master of Arts, his last will and testament and a lock of his hair. There are several letters addressed to his daughter Eliza Marsden Hassall.
