"Wipe" has been published since 1998 as a compilation of various artists’ works on toilet paper. Contributors have included both Australian and international artists such as Martin Sharp, Luke Sciberras, Helen Amyes, Thierry Tillier and Giovanni Strader. The artists source their own toilet paper. Contributing artists send in prints on toilet paper to the publisher, Field Study International (David Dellafiora), where they are bound into a small zine-like book. Peter Kingston has contributed to several issues. David Dellafiora describes "Wipe" as ‘The use of a nonarchival, indeed anti-archival medium, is intentional, with the ephemerality and fragility of the medium in sharp contrast with the artistic concern for archival materials. Conceived as a playful lightweight publication to circumvent postage costs, "Wipe" nods to Duchamp’s urinal and challenges contributors to make work on a medium that is almost anti-art.’
