    Nam Tran as born in Kratie, Cambodia in 1961. He migrated to Australia as a refugee in 1982 and began working at Lindsay's Toy Factory, Leichhardt, in 1983.

  • Scope and Content
    In this interview, Cambodian-Australian, Nam Tran, speaks about his family and childhood in Kratie, Cambodia, surviving the Khmer Rouge regime, and coming to Australia in 1982 as a refugee. Nam also discusses the challenges he faced in his new country, from learning English to adapting to cultural differences, and speaks about working at the Lindsay Toy Factory, Leichhardt, NSW for over thirty years.
