    Ruby Langford Ginibi (1934-2011) was an award-winning Aboriginal author and an elder of the Bundjalung people of northern NSW. She began writing in 1984 and won numerous literary awards. She was most famous for her novel ‘Don’t Take Your Love to Town’.
