    Photograph of The Domain, Sydney, showing a group of men, women and a child standing near a fenced-off road area of the park. An avenue is in the centre of the image rising to the statue of Sir Richard Bourke at the original Bent Street entrance to the Domain in the north-west corner of the park.

    Image measures 20 x 26 cm, mounted on stiff paper, measuring 37 x 48 cm. Titled 'The Domain' below the image, numbered '19' in bottom right corner.

    The photograph has been attributed to Charles Pickering by Harbeck Rare Books after comparison with a similar photograph of the Domain showing a group of people in the foreground, 1870s, which was originally attributed to Pickering by the State Library of New South Wales at SPF/1031.
