    Eaglesfield was a school on Darlinghurst Road. Originally named 'The New School' it was renamed Eaglesfield in 1879, after Robert Eaglesfield, founder of Queen's College Oxford.

  • Scope and Content
    Item is a depiction of the fire which broke out at The Garden Palace at about 5:40 a.m. on 22 September 1882, which totally consumed the building in around 40 minutes. It appears to have been created as the Palace was burning.
