Barbara Curthoys, 1924-2000, was an Australian feminist, researcher and communist activist who campaigned for racial and social equality and world peace. In 1990 when the Comintern Archives were opened in Moscow she was the first Australian invited to use them. At that time she was a member for the central committee of the Association for Communist Unity in Australia. - Scope and ContentManuscript research notes in ring binder, 1990, relating to documents concerning the Communist Party of Australia and the Australian sections of the international revolutionary organisations, 1920-1940 in the Comintern Archives, Moscow.
