    Beatrice Stella Kinnear’s husband, Harry Mackie Kinnear was appointed manager of Moonahcullah Mission Station, near Deniliquin in 1942. Prior to this they were at Brewarrina Station.

    1. 53 pages of letters written by Beatrice Stella Kinnear to her friends Cis and Tom, 1942-1946
    Letters recount specific events and experiences, written using her middle name “Stella”. These are written from various locations, including Brewarrina, Moonahculla, and some from Moonachulla via Deniliquin.

    2. 1 exercise book of Minutes of Women's Meetings at Moonahcullah, 1942-1943
    Meeting minutes of Red Cross Sewing meetings, including the total number of attendees, the meeting’s agenda, and sometimes specific details regarding events.

    Inscription on the back of the photo 6a (from contents list): “Moonahcullah Mission Station 1943 ? This is a picture of the last full blood aborigenes [sic] who lived at Moonahcullah. A kindly old gentleman who wore a hat with a bird feather + always used it in greeting with the manager, my husband, Mr H. M. Kinnear. B.S. Kinnear.”
    Inscription on the back of the photograph 6b:“Nell Pugh (nee Clark). Aunty to Stella Kimmear her niece. Nell was Narra[?] Dunsford’s sister. Lived at the ‘gabba’ out of Brisbane, QLD. 161F26”. Stamp reads “Phone M 3454 MACS photo service 16 Piccadilly Arcade 220 Pitt Street, Sydney”.
    Inscription on the back of the photograph 6c: “Nanna Kinnear at the wheel of Dad’s first car. ‘MoonahCulla’ Aboriginal Station”.
    Inscription on front of photograph 6d: "Kinchelan (Boys Home). Bet. Kempsey and Sth West Rocks on NSW mid nth. Coast. (original photo) approx. 1948 (?)”.
