  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    John Immig, 1935-2018, was a photojournalist and documentary photographer born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His work is of topical, historical and social interest and is keenly collected by several institutions throughout Australia, including The National Gallery of Australia, The National Library of Australia, State libraries in Victoria, Adelaide, and New South Wales, and in private colections. John Immig's photographs have been published in magazines and exhibited in galleries in Australia and overseas.

  • Scope and Content
    A collection of 28 digital photographs documenting the lives of people from a diverse range of New South Wales community groups, including Bangladeshi, Polish, Czech, Japanese, Indian and Dutch.
