George Colin Lawder Bertram (1911–2001) was a British researcher, explorer and zoologist. He was born on November 27 1911, and educated at Berkhamsted and at St John’s College, Cambridge. Between 1934 and 1937, as a member of the British Graham Land Expedition, he was under the command of John Rymill, for whom Bertram had great respect. He died in 2011.
