Includes description by William Macarthur of a silo constructed at Camden, with an estimate of the expense and observations on the most economical mode of filling these granaries; and memorandum of the number and capacity of the silos excavated out of sandstone at Cockatoo Island, by George Barney, Lieutenant-Colonel, Royal Engineers, with lithograph plans dated 1841.
