The St Peters Sydenham Tempe Neighbourhood Centre was a community-based, non-profit organisation that has been operating in the inner western suburbs of Sydney since 1986 and ceased activities in 2000. Records from the community group were brought to the Hale and Iremonger premises, the same property occupied by Greens NSW. The membership of the centre was primarily composed of local residents, the majority of them belonging to no political party. The Centre mobilised the community over some 15 years about such issues as the Boral Gas explosion, Sydney Airport Noise, Steele Park Recreation Reserve Waste Station and Sydenham Demolitions.
