    Documents relating mostly to the Simpson family, especially Edward Percy Simpson, but also including some documents relating to the Fairfax family, including press clippings, photocopies of family history documents, copies of maps, notes, photographs, local history publications. Original documents include a death certificate signed by Percy Simpson, 1861, and a handwritten diary of a visit to Japan by Edward Percy Simpson, undated, approx. 100 pp. Printed publications including Don T de, Trueba, 'The Romance of History: Spain', Frederick Warne: London, undated presented as school prize to Edward Percy Simpson, 1875. Robert Hooper, 'The Anatomists' Vade-Mecum,' John Murray: London, 1804.

Two of her novels were turned into films, including 'Under Capricorn' which was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Contents include photograph album and press clippings, also legal documents including power of attorney and advice regarding financial matters from Minter Simpson
