  Papers include typescript diary describing voyage on the Tambo from Sydney to the Solomons, Marshall Islands to Butaritari, Gilbert Islands, where he changed ships for return to Sydney on the Moresby. Also includes photograph of public flogging in Rabaul, New Britain, 30 Nov. 1914 taken by Alan Fry while purser on SS Morinda and programme: Anzac Day / First Anniversary / Fourth Australian Division / Serapeum Egypt / April 25th 1916 / Program / Divisional Championship Events' along with other miscellaneous papers from his time in Egypt
