Scope and Content
Most of the pages appear to be the result of interviews and visits to flour mills carried out in 1958 and include a brief bibliography of milling in N.S.W. Each entry is numbered and dated. In the following decade the independent mills in N.S.W. were taken over by multinational firms and closed. The notes therefore cover the last years of family milling. The last three pages are dated 30 November 59, and appear to be the result of an inspection of barracks and sites associated with the Snowy Mountains Authority.
