Nicholas Jose was the General Editor of the 'Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature' published in 2009 which is an anthology of fiction, poetry, drama, diaries, letters, essays and speeches of Australian authors.

Anita Heiss and Peter Minter were the Editors of the 'Macquarie PEN Anthology of Aboriginal Literature' published in May 2008. This is an anthology of Aboriginal writers providing 200 years of Aboriginal culture, history and life.

The collection comprises records relating to the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature, and the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Aboriginal Literature projects. Includes contracts, draft and edited manuscripts, extracts from published works for consideration to the anthologies, and correspondence from contributing authors and editors.
