The poster is promoting a week-long exhibition held at the National Trust Centre, Sydney, in 1979. The exhibition of Luna Park memorabilia and artwork resulted from an exercise by architecture students at the University of Sydney exploring fantasy architecture.

The poster was part of an exhibition of works by Sharp held at the Hogarth Gallery, Sydney, in February 1981.
