- Scope and ContentA letter written by one of the early Wesleyan Methodist missionaries, William Simpson, regarding his mission work in Richmond and Windsor. The letter gives good insight into the tribulations and dangers of life at the foot of the Blue Mountains, particularly regarding lawlessness of the region. At the time of writing, Simpson had been working on the Richmond circuit for two years and wanted to inform the Secretaries of the Wesleyan Mission in London about the 'state of the cause of God in this place'.
