    Ariah Park is a small town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The settlement was first established in 1850. The town's name came from resident Sam Harrison who purchased a portion of the Wellman Estate and then named that portion Ariah Park. The town is listed by the National Trust as a Conservation Area. The district produces sheep and wheat.

    Manuscript notes written by George John Seymour, dated 7 May 1977, on the early days of Ariah Park in N.S.W., detailing life in a rural community. The annotation at the end of the document reads: 'These notes were written to assist Mr Steve Dyer, of the Research School of Social Sciences at the Australian National University, in researching material for a Thesis on the subject of 'Rural life between the two World Wars'.
