Dorothy Hamilton, nee Eileen Dorothy Kyle-Little, was born in 1903 in Rokeby, Cape York. Rokeby is one of the northernmost homesteads in Queensland and is located within the Mungkan Kandju National Park. Elsey Station is a huge cattle station 400 kilometres south of Darwin.
