Oliver Shaul (1923-2010) was a leader in the hospitality industry. He was director of the Federal Hotels group and afterwards established his own hospitality consultancy business. He set up the Travel Lodge motel chain and the Summit restaurant on top of Australia Square. He won the tender to establish and run the catering at the Sydney Opera House. He was actively involved in many tourism, hospitality and management committees and boards.
