Mrs Lyndon Rose collected these recordings between November 1976 and February 1977 during fieldwork at Mogo, on the far south coast of N.S.W. The purpose of the field trips was to research the community of Mogo and its development. The collection contains discussions on personal experiences, the fishing industry, occupations, education, community development and early life in the Mogo area.

Selected transcripts of this collection appear in the report based on this research called 'A quiet revolution in Mogo'.
