    T Williams and Co is a firm of Stock and Station Agents in Cootamundra, New South Wales. The firm was founded by Thomas Williams in December 1898, and traded continuously for over 100 years until it was taken over by Delta Agribusiness in June 2011.
    Thomas Williams married Elizabeth Anne Mutch in England and moved to Cootamundra.
    They had five children, the oldest being William Ewart Williams.
  • Scope and Content
    The letters in this collection range from general descriptions of Australian life, accounts of holidays and camping trips, discussion of the climate, weather conditions and farming, family news, concern about World War I and the Depression, and references to Aboriginal Australians and their tools and customs.

    This folder contains letters and postcards written by William Ewart Williams, to his mother's sister, Frances Moore, in Cheshire, England, from 1902-1938.

    Letters and letter fragments written by Elizabeth Anne Williams to Frances Moore as well as letters written by mainly by other Williams family members, mostly to Frances Moore and Florrie Knight in England, ca. 1910-1965
