    Ronald Mervyn McGreal, 1906-1992, was a teacher who had been involved with the Free Library Movement in Cessnock. He was nominated by William Herbert Ifould to be responsible for receiving, classifying and distributing the books and magazines received for the Camp Library.
    The Camp Library Service was established in 1941 to distribute recreational books to service personnel.
