    Joyce Geake was born in 1923. She qualified as a social worker but worked for most of her life as a librarian in Sydney and the Shoalhaven area. She died in Sydney in 2010.
  • Scope and Content
    In this work Geake sets out to educate her friends. She discusses her personal experiences growing up as a lesbian. She also discusses popular misconceptions about homosexuality, christian and humanist approaches and the various movements in different countries.
