- Scope and ContentThe poem 'Daisies', was written out by Sir William Dixson because it charmed him. Accompanying it is a coloured crayon drawing done by the children of Mr Ian Hope, Secretary of the Dixson Trust Pty Ltd., Sydney, Sir William was fond of these children and sometimes hung their 'pictures' in his library. These two items illustrate a deep and abiding characteristic of Sir William Dixson's namely, his love of and tenderness towards children
