    1. Petition, dated 18 January 1844, and addressed to Governor Gipps from George Armand, complaining of the pilotage payable for his small vessel Alpha trading between Melbourne and Western Port.

    2. Letter, dated Melbourne, 28 December 1843, from John Fitzgerald Leslie Foster to Governor giving details of unfortunate affair in which he was involved with Dr. F. McGrae and enclosing copies of correspondence between them dated November to December 1843.

    3. Petition, ca. 1845, addressed to the Governor of N.S.W. from Stephen George Henty, asking for repayment of sums spent on landing goods at Portland in the absence of a public wharf there; accompanied by Observations on the collection wharfage at the Port of Portland dated 27 February 1849.

    4. Letter, dated Melbourne, 18 March 1840, to G.A. Robinson, from Edward Stone Parker, asking permission to occupy a suitable tract of country about the River Loddon in order to make contact with certain tribes of aborigines.

    5. Memorial, 1849, addressed to Governor FitzRoy, objecting to payment for leases, restrictions on subdivision.

    6. Memorial, dated 10 April 1838, and addressed to Governor Gipps by members of a committee of subscribers towards the erection of a Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, applying for aid from the Colonial Treasury; with plan.

    7. Memorial, dated 1 October 1838, and addressed to Governor Gipps, from the members of a committee for promoting the erection of a Presbyterian Church in connection with the Church of Scotland.
