- Scope and ContentUnsigned; the writer's name was obtained from a letter addressed to W.T. Jay from the Colonial Office, 15 July 1829, which was found among papers of W.E. Riley, A 2012.
Appears to be a fair copy of an original journal, and frequently refers to the author's friendship with "R.", who may be Riley.
The journal describes many journeys of exploration in the districts surrounding the Swan River settlements, and has a particular focus on the natural history of the region.
