- ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY
Duncan was editor of the Australasian chronicle, 1839-1842 and from 1845-1856 of Weekly register of politics, facts and general literature. In 1846, he was appointed sub-collector of Customs at Moreton Bay and later held various other public offices.
