  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Reverend Joseph Oram was born in England in 1821. He arrived in New South Wales in 1850 and travelled in most of the important circuits. When at Bathurst, he launched a scheme for a new church in 1857. In 1879, he became President of Conference, but, in 1883, owing to poor health was appointed Supernumerary. He died on 21 April 1898

    'Brief Scripture Meditations with Short Devotional Breathings', includes text and short sermon and prayer. Apparently prepared for publication. Also includes brief post-mortem appreciation of Oram by his wife
