George Selth Coppin, 1819-1906, actor came to Sydney in 1843, and both managed and acted in theatres in Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria. He was a member of the Legislative Council of Victoria from 1858-1863, and a member of the Legislative Assembly 1874-1889
