William Henry, born in Ireland in 1778 or 1779, came to Australia in 1801. From ca. 1830-1861 he occupied land at Lane Cove, New South Wales. He spent many years justifying his claim to this land finally petitioning, without success, the New South Legislative Assembly in 1860. He died in 1862 - Scope and Contenta.
