    Ernest Wunderlich, 1859-1945, came to Australia in 1885, and in 1890 founded the firm Wunderlich Ltd. He was interested in music and played an important part in the establishing of the New South Wales State Conservatorium and Symphony Orchestra, as well as composing songs and pianoforte pieces himself.
