  • Scope and Content
    A scheme of the voyage, including instructions to the Captain is at the beginning of the volume and a list of the ship's company who died or deserted during the voyage is at the end. The Speedwell was wrecked in May 1720 and the voyage was continued in the Recovery and the Spanish ships Jesus Maria and Sacra Familia. A printed account of the voyage was published in 1726
