    Andrew Brown, 1797-189-, was born at Tibbermoor, Scotland. He settled in N.S.W. at Cooerwull Creek near Bowenfels in 1824. A flour mill established by him at Cooerwull in 1837 was converted to a woollen mill in 1857 and continued in operation until 1966. Andrew Brown built schools and churches at Cooerwull and Bowenfels

    Andrew Brown records his birth in Scotland in 1797, his arrival and settlement at Cooerwull Brook in 1824, the development of his mill, his marriage, the birth of his children, their partial education in Scotland and England and general family history of births and deaths to 1890
