Joseph Sheridan Moore, 1828-1891, was a teacher and literary man who was well knwon in literary circles in Sydney, N.S.w. He introduced Henry Kendall to many of the poets and writers living in Sydney, ca. 1859-ca. 1869, and helped Kendall with the publication of much of his early work, including the publication of his first volume of poetry, Poems and Songs, 1862 - Scope and ContentItem 1
