    With a tree of the family of Commissary General Broughton drawn by H. K. Garland 1956, showing the relationship with the Tooth, Throsby, Carne, Garland, Baylis, Bridges, Clayton and Cox families and a note from H. K. Garland stating that the tree may not be fully accurate and the the original of the Reminiscence may be at King's School for which it was written. The Reminiscence ends with copies of 2 letters referring to a gold medal awarded to Baylis in 1875 for his part in this 1863 incident.

    The printed Reminiscence Syd. Gibbs, Shallard & Co. no date. omitting these letters is filed at 042 P 267 and the original of one of the above letters from NSW Col. Sec. 11 November 1875 is at Ab 122. With the Reminiscence are bound several newscuttings on Henry Baylis and obituaries of W. M. Carne no date and of Miss E. J. Garland, Tamworth 15-10-1936. A collection of portraits of descendants of C. G. William Broughton who were engaged in the 1914-1919 war, with key is filed at P3 under Broughton, Wm and descendants.
