The first director of the Conservatorium was Henry Verbrugghen, During the Victorian tour of 1922 the N.S.W. orchestra used the name Verbrugghen Orchestra

This collection, formerly located at call number A 3233, was transferred to the Archives Authority of NSW (4/7575.1 - 4/7575.3) in July 1967.
