The papers in Vol. 1 do not appear to have been published. The Diary is not the anthropological diary published in Royal Society S.A. Trans vol. 16 but appears to be the official diary kept in Helms' capacity as naturalist. The Journal and Final report of the expedition by the leader, D. Lindsay, were published as S.A.-Parlt-Paper no. 45, 1891, but the Extract from D. Lindsay's report in Vol. 1 does not correspond with the published text
