    William E. FitzHenry, also known as W. E. Fitz Henry or Bill Fitzhenry, Australian literary historian, worked at The Bulletin for 40 years from 1917. In October 1955, he was awarded a literary grant to write this account of his time there. He died in 1957 and his account was never published.

    The typescript is 169 pages bound in a volume with handwritten corrections and additions. Includes bookplate of Walter W. Stone on inside front cover and his collection stamp on various pages. Includes newscutting from Sydney Morning Herald dated 7 February 1957 reporting FitzHenry's death.
