Section 4 (6) (a) of the Camperdown Cemetery Act 1948-1950 required the compilation of this index when part of the Cemetery was cleared to make room for a park. The index is arranged alphabetically by first surname shown on each monument. Other names shown on the same monument are not indexed.
Scope and Content
Volume 3 contains a plan of the cemetery showing the location of monuments within the resumed area. The plan is divided into sections and each monument numbered within the section. An index number is given in Volume 1.
