    There is little of Australian interest amongst Capt. Kent's letters as his service under Hunter and King extended from 1795-1800 and 1802-1805

    Vol. 4 Mrs Eliza Kent journal of the voyage of the Buffalo, 13 May-13 October 1803 in the form of letters to her mother. On this voyage the Buffalo commanded by Capt. W. Kent left Sydney for Calcutta to purchase livestock and stores. She sailed via Norfolk Island and New Caledonia, the Solomons and north of New Guinea to Java. The letters end as they approach Penang. Mrs Kent mainly describes the natives and life of the places visited, including Amboina and New Ireland
