    Clifford Barry Donn was born in Rockland County, New York in 1950. In 1972 he received a B. S. degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. He was a lecturer at Macquarie University, Sydney; an instructor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, University of Tennessee
