    1 snuff box - wood, with painted lid - 2 x 10 cm in diameter
  • Scope and Content
    Oval shaped wooden snuff box with oil painting on lid. Image depicts two men playing checkers, with woman and baby in background.

    Silver spoon with faded hallmarks on back of handle. They include a stamp, HP with two flowers, inside a shield; and S I E surrounded by 7 stars. The style of the spoon appears to be trifid, ca. 1660-1700. It has a rats tail join of shaft and bowl.
