    Albert Francis Myers was born in England. He came to Australia as a young architect and set up practice in Sydney, N.S.W.

    Specification submitted for a competition for the building of a theatre at the corner of Pitt and Park Streets, Sydney N.S.W., for John Solomon. The specification does not disclose the architect's name as it was submitted under the nom de plume of 'Olympic', which was a condition of the competition. The submission was unsuccessful. The Criterion Theatre opened in December 1886
